Coercivity means that after a magnetic material is saturated and magnetized, its magnetic induction intensity B does not return to zero when the external magnetic field returns to zero. Only by adding a certain magnetic field in the opposite direction of the original magnetizing field can the magnetic induction intensity return to zero. This magnetic field is called the coercive magnetic field, also known as the coercive force. Coercive force comes from the irreversible magnetization process.
